Seeing in a dream that one is forgiven by Almighty Allah even though they deserved punishment (were guilty) indicates that the person who sees this dream is a good individual in the eyes of Allah. This dream also signifies that the person should give alms (charity) as an act of atonement. If a sinful person sees in a dream that Allah (swt) forgives their faults and wrongdoings, it points to the righteousness of that person and their giving of atonement. At times, seeing oneself being forgiven in a dream signifies success and happiness. Other times, this dream signifies attaining the forgiveness and pleasure of Allah Almighty through a righteous deed.
