Jungian Dream Interpretation

Jung, in contrast to Freud, viewed dreams as a means of communication with the unconscious. He believed that dream images reveal insights about your self, your relationships with others, and the situations in your waking life. According to Jung, dreams are guiding lights on your path to personal growth and realizing your full potential. He placed importance on both the manifest and latent content of dreams, considering the surface-level elements just as revealing as the hidden meanings.

Jung's approach to dream interpretation places greater trust in the dreamer. He held the belief that we all possess the tools necessary to interpret our own dreams. In his view, there is no one 'correct' way to interpret a dream. The meaning of your dreams is a deeply personal judgment, and it's up to you to decide how to interpret them. What matters most is the interpretation that resonates with you personally, which holds more significance and importance than the views of others.
